St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church was filled to near capacity Sunday for the celebration marking 25 years of service to the parish by Monsignor Arthur J. Tonne.

Five Marion Warriors have been named to the Cottonwood Valley League first-string football team. Players include halfback Casey Case, end Darin Helmer, tackle Jerry Hett, linebacker Jeff Richmond, and secondary Darrell Waner.
