Marlene Bernhardt brought treats Oct. 23 to celebrate her birthday.

Judy Thompson, a representative of Kansas Commission on Veterans’ Affairs, was at the center that day and will return in December.

Members of the Lutheran Church ate lunch at the center Oct. 24.

Suzie McClintock, a cardiac nurse from Hillsboro Community Hospital, will give a presentation Nov. 1. She will be coming to the center on the first Thursday of every other month.

A Bluestem PACE representative will give a program Nov. 7. Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly help people meet their health care needs in the community instead of going to a nursing home or other care facility. If authorized, PACE provides all the care and services covered by Medicare and Medicaid
