Don Mueller
A memorial service for Donald D. “Don” Mueller, 65, rural Tampa, who passed away Jan. 30, 2026, at Hillsboro Community Hospital, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Tampa.
Visitation with family will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at Tampa Community Building.
Inurnment will be in North Tampa Cemetery.
Don was born Aug. 9, 1960, at Marion to Werner “Bing” and Maxine (Haynes) Mueller.
He was a graduate of Centre High School and attended technical school.
On April 19, 1980, he was united in marriage to Frances “Francie” Klenda.
Don lived his entire life in the Tampa community. He was a farmer and stockman and was active in Tampa with Marion County Rural Water District No. 1 and the Tampa volunteer fire department.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Francie, of Tampa; children Kevin Mueller of Tampa, Chad Mueller of Tampa, and Kristin (and husband Eric) Bunnel of Tijeras, New Mexico; siblings Mike (and wife Sharyn) Mueller of Olathe, Richard (and wife Susie) Mueller of Mentor, Nancy Jo (and husband Gary) Hawkes of Salina, Ed (and wife Barb) Mueller of Salina, Alan (and wife Cindy Mueller) of Assaria, and twin Ronald (and wife Kaylene) Mueller of Tampa; and grandchildren Zachary, Charlotte and Kaylee Bunnel of Tijeras, New Mexico.
A memorial fund has been established with Tampa Community Foundation in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
