Lost Springs fire

Because of a last-minute addition by a second staff member, some editions of last week’s paper incorrectly reported that fire had destroyed a century-old, two-story Lost Springs.

The home was identified on the basis of the address supplied by dispatchers to firefighters who fought the blaze, but it was in fact the address for a neighboring house, not the house that was destroyed.

The Record apologizes for the error.
