Go easy on Trump

To the editor:

Like many hundreds of others, I was moved to send in my subscription amount and renew it when the time came. I enjoy the small-town paper.

Counting the deer strikes is cool. It does, however, offend me when the editor writes a column like “Democrats: Don’t read this” (May 6).

You must know that the president gathered a lot of votes in Kansas. We are very pleased with the majority of his actions. Perhaps a somewhat less aggressive approach on your part would be possible.

He has accomplished a large part of his campaign promises. Stopping the thousands of emigrants crossing the border was an example.

Let voters decide, without guidance from the Opinion page.
